Overview
Benedict Group is a privately owned corporation that released its first
enterprise software product in 1990. Since then, it has invested
millions of dollars in the development and enhancement of its investment
management applications.
BGI’s clients include major lenders such as StanCorp Financial,
Greystone Servicing, MMA Financial (MuniMae), and Wachovia; investment
account managers such as Brown Brothers Harriman, Evergreen Investments,
and INVESCO; and economic development and housing agencies such as the
states of Alaska, Massachusetts, Illinois, and Pennsylvania (for
references from these organizations, please contact BGI). All BGI
clients are located in the United States and the Caribbean. Please note
that we do not currently support our software in other areas of the
world.
BGI’s management has been in place since the start of the company, and
its staff includes experienced consultants in five states, who have
10-30 years of experience in the development and support of
enterprise-level applications.
Client Focus
As our client references will confirm, we offer the following
advantages:
·
Feature-rich applications, based on current information technology.
·
Responsive support, including on-demand customization services.
·
Source code availability under our Build, Buy, or BGI™ program that
allows you to make enhancements in-house if you wish.
·
And
flexible pricing and support models that currently include the option of
receiving product support and upgrades without paying an annual
maintenance fee.
Flexible Technology
BGI’s new products are based on our PriMetaFores™technology, an
extensive set of development tools that represents all of our
application logic (5 million+ lines of source code) as rules in a
language-independent database, and from there renders them for a target
environment such as Microsoft’s .Net and SQL Server technologies. This
technology makes change easier and safer, and helps ‘future-proof’ our
applications.
Stable Growth
While many of our competitors have been acquired by larger companies,
BGI has always funded its growth internally and never competed in its
clients’ industries. The result has been a profitable and stable
company, focused on market-leading technology and support.
